Wow, do I have an account here?

Fri Feb 22, 2008, 2:33 PM
Someone obviously forgot that question ends in the answer of yes, but I'm here, and writing, although not creating as life flipped over and became quite good, and I seemed to be able to create easier when tormented by everything, oh well, I like it better this way, so maybe I can draw pictures of wittle puppies and kitties, all dancing about with blankets and mittens, and maybe with superhero alter egos so they can have the masks and shiny capes and all, or maybe not, but that's probably what I'd draw if I got out some paper and pencils and stuff, and that may show why I haven't bothered updating for so long, wow, it's been over a year since I last came here it seems, shows how good I am at remembering what sites I have accounts on.

When are you gonna post more drawings / writings, Steven? :)
:iconexplosivecalm:
I'm not sure why it does it, maybe it's to help the people here feel good, that the boxes just aren't big enough to hold their egos inside, ooh, burn! ok, enough of that now, I'll be nice, but it's one theory behind this madness anyway, and the only one which makes sense, I just wish I didn't have to backspace everytime I lose track of what I'm saying.

My problem wasn't time but finding the will to do it, had it thought out for about half a year before I made any start on it, but I'm ready to post it now, I thought I'd make a leap with the sequel before spending the time uploading them here, some people seem to like it, even if it does lack my usual charm which is replaced with darkness and occasional moments of insane violence.

Weirdness, it wouldn't let me reply, just gave me a cancel button, so now I'm seemingly commenting on myself, gah, it's just making my own ego seem bigger than it really is. :|

Explosive! I'm glad you found your way over here! It can be a little obnoxious - okay, *a lot* obnoxious at times - especially with all the animé/Harry Potter fangirls. Just ignore them, though. I can't really recommend anything for you to look at, go with your own usual good taste. :-)

Don't feel obligated to look at/comment on anyone's stuff, since it mostly sucks (including my own).

Oh. And be wary of those high-and-mighty-types who, just because they think being sarcastic equals post-modern, means they can get away with shit.

Enough ranting from me. :D
:iconexplosivecalm:
Thank you, I've looked at this place a few times before from links and thought of making an account, but I never did, although I may be inspired to draw something new, I have seen that stories can be posted here and before you say my stories suck I have been writing a lot lately, I did my first serious mini-novel, it's not long enough to be considered a novel, and I'm currently writing a sequel, go me I guess, maybe I can post it here, get some more readers maybe since I put so much effort into it and hardly anyone bothered with it.

Oh my Gawd! there's people who do that sarcasm thing? I always say sarcasm doesn't work on the internet since you have to have a certain tone of voice to make it work, and the only tone is in the head of the person reading, and they don't know what tone to read it in.

I'll have fun anyway, I'll find some stuff to check out while posting my own stuff, I should show things off more I think, especially with my underappreciated epic stories.
:iconthebadwolfdoctor:
I have never said your stories suck; granted, I don't think I have read any of them.

If a story is not long enough to be considered a novel, then you can call it 'novella'.

While I would like to write more here, the box-thing isn't working right.
:iconexplosivecalm:
Well I never really wrote anything in what we'd call real novel form before, I did short stories with zero dialogue, only the suggestion of dialogue, and then I did my icon stories, that was more script form than anything, poor Caver, I have to give him a new home with deleting my profiles, I saved him but he's lonely, especially with there being four parts of a prequel I've left unfinished since about March time.

Anyway, I think I figured out how to post stories here now, I just checked out someone else's and saw I can do it by posting one chapter at a time, so I'll do that, I don't know if I ever mentioned it but it's a horror/thriller about a certain celebrity founded religon/cult, just with names altered to avoid getting sued.

I'll post it tomorrow maybe, meant to today but then I got writing and lost track of all time, obviously with it being this hour.

These box things are weird, my writing trails off into the unknown, I have to think extra carefully to avoid making typos in the unseen realm of this place.
:iconthebadwolfdoctor:
That's exactly what happened to my text; it doesn't happen on the college's computers (because they are running at a different resolution, perhaps?). Scratch that, it just happened there! :|

I can't wait to read your story. I've considered doing something on the theme of religions/cults myself, but never found the time.
